The Senior Business Development Executive (SBDE) is responsible for increasing market share and revenue utilizing a solution-based sales approach and relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish the established goals.  In this position you will, close new business and maximize revenue for the company with new and existing customers. Essential Functions

  • Increase revenue and market share using knowledge of the industry, market, customers, competitors, and contacts. 
  • Plan approaches and pitches utilizing company approved format. Develop proposals that speak to the customer's needs, concerns, and objectives utilizing unique selling propositions and differentiators.
  • Set-up meetings with prospective and existing Strategic Accounts to gather information, determine needs and present solutions.
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, to develop and grow the business network, and provide the operations, sales, and leadership teams with feedback and information on market and creative trends.
  • Understand the Company's mission, strategic intent (vision), objectives and initiatives, and how they impact the Customers.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company's people and capabilities.
  • Gather, research, and monitor business intelligence from the environment around the company (customers, competition/substitutes, economics, political/regulatory, technology, and consumers) for analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
  • Regular consistent attendance is required, that could include attendance at after hour Company events.
  • Ability to accept supervision.
  • Must be personable, positive, and a professional representative of the Company
  • Follow processes and procedures as outlined in provided documentation
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • At minimum 5 years of successful experience working in mortgage, title, or a real estate-related industry.
  • Excels at prospecting, customer service, sales, follow up, and closing prospects.
  • Ability to speak publicly and deliver professional presentations effectively.
  • Can define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Has the ability to interface effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, management, and customers by telephone, mail, email and in person.
  • Open and collaborative style; must be comfortable working in an environment where ideas are shared and challenged.
  • Displays energy and enthusiasm; finds sales enjoyable, wants to be held accountable and is willing to hold others accountable.
  • Have a personable, positive and professional attitude.
  • Able to utilize Salesforce or other CRMs efficiently.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to details and solid proofing skills.
  • Ability to adequately use Microsoft Office suite of products.
